Article Translation

Using artificial intelligence, Documently is able to translate articles into any language. Each article in your project has an entry in its submenu, where, after clicking, you can define the languages into which you want to translate your article. Each article is translated within its own group. Therefore, if you have a new article for which a group is created automatically, every translation will be attached to the base article's group. If an article already exists in the target language from a previous version, it will be overwritten within the current branch. You can only use the translation feature when you are on a branch.

Translation Form

After activating the "Translate" option from the contextual menu of a selected article, a modal will appear with a list of available target languages. The list is displayed based on the languages configured in the project. You can select all languages or only specific ones.

The translation process usually takes from several to several dozen seconds after sending the request. Immediately after sending the request, you will see a message confirming that your request has been received, which does not mean the translation is complete. The results will appear, with a certain delay, in the respective languages on the branch from which you sent the request.
